I freelanced as creative consultant and worked with Spaceworks communications manager to develop concepts and create engaging on-brand creatives that speak to their audiences in the art communities in NYC.
Fundraising Campaign
Creative Puzzle:
Spaceworks needed to develop a digital campaign for fundraising, and they were looking for creatives with minimal illustration that include artist and city space to convey the fun and dynamic of the organization, while presenting itself as a serious and influential art organization.
Creative Solution:
I developed original one-line illustrations, incorporated stock graphic, and included artists’ portraits to develop a series of digital creatives that leverage their campaign on the website, email and different social media channels.

Event Marketing
Creative Puzzle:
Spaceworks NYC wanted to develop a series of dynamic creatives for their event for the art communities. They needed to include artists’ photos and make the event appear fun and attractive in the communication materials.
Creative Solution:
While working with their brand colors and photos, I developed design concept around “Circle” reflecting the name of the events. The design looks playful yet official and serious.
Brand Creatives
Spaceworks NYC wanted to have a one pager that included NYC map that showcased their studio locations and specs. Based on the shapes of the buildings, I created one-line illustrations while incorporating brand colors and including a secondary color to complement their yellow. I used different levels of grey to differentiate different boroughs. I also utilized number system to help organize the visual and text information.
Infographics
Creative Puzzle 1: Timeline Infographic
Spaceworks wanted to create a on-brand timeline infographic that tell its brand story and missionn to their art communities and potential funders in a simple yet informative way.
Creative Solution:
I developed 3 pencil sketches initially and one monotonous digital iteration. I worked with the brand colors, suggested adding orange color to brighten up the color scheme and used one-line illustrations as the main visuals. The curvy timeline allowed the composition and information to flow with dynamic.
Creative Puzzle 2: Resource Infographic
Spaceworks wanted to develop an legible and dynamic infographic that contains large piece of information on the topic of marketing tools for artists.
Creative Solution:
I utilized color blocks to organize the information and icons to bring dynamic to the lengthy information.
